Thank you, Howard

Howard Dartt served on the Mississippi Valley Library District Board since 2005 - our first election of a Board in our transition from municipal library to a district library.

Howard was instrumental in the expansion of our Library District that took our boundaries throughout the entire Unit 10 School District to include all Collinsville school children in a public library service. He was also there to be sure that the Fairmont City Library Center got a good start in the Summer of 2008.

Howard was on the Board of Trustees when the decision was made to give part of our ground for the building of the Collinsville Historical Museum and was a big proponent of our Library Service and our staff.

The Library appreciates all of the time that he gave to the Mississippi Valley Library District.
